While most strategic plans are traditionally laid using ‘industry maps’ and ‘market compasses’, most boards of directors will have experienced a need to adapt to several scenarios of precipitous change in the past couple of years.
Such scenarios often require the board to navigate the terrain, ie. adjusting to the unplanned – and sometimes unprecedented – events without having the time to stop and carefully think things over.
With peaking geopolitical tensions across the globe, record-breaking inflation rates, wars and unlawful invasions on several continents, climate change impacts of extreme nature all over the world, continued pandemic surges, political dogma shifts in a number of countries, disrupted supply-chains, and both regulatory and stakeholder demands at unparalelled levels, boards and their ability to handling crises, fostering resilience and creating meaningful change, are surely being put to the test these years.
As we do every year, InterSearch – Worldwide Organization of Executive Search Firms in partnership with Board Network – The Danish Professional Directors Association are now conducting this Global Board Survey 2022 and you are hereby kindly invited to share your insights and experiences as chairman and/or board member of one or more corporate boards.
The questionnaire will take approx. 10-15 minutes to complete. We will return your favor with solid guidelines from other prominent and experienced board directors on how to stay agile and abreast with megatrends – enabling you to stay on top of the board agenda – in order for you to increase your competitiveness and fulfill your growth ambitions. Your responses will naturally be treated anonymously and kept in confidence.
In case you serve on more than one board, please answer all questions with only one and the same of those boards in mind, i.e. for the board you feel most affiliated with.
