After training as a lawyer and spending his formative years in the legal profession, Richard made a successful transition to industry joining BHP where he worked in a variety of senior management positions. Richard entered executive search, joining the Melbourne office of leading global firm Spencer Stuart for five years and led the Melbourne office until 1985.
Richard's years in executive search were spent as a true generalist. Notwithstanding, he completed numerous successful assignments in the resources and manufacturing sectors, in addition to higher education and public sector appointments. Richard is renowned for his ability to foster relationships with both clients and candidates, engendering a high level of confidence in the professionalism and integrity of his firm.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne.
