Last month the InterSearch Board of Directors held a productive meeting in Nice that primarily focused on the upcoming global annual meeting in Berlin from May 23-26. We are pleased to share that familiar InterSearch faces from more than 36 countries will be in attendance, along with new members from Denmark, China, Hong Kong, Switzerland and Colombia.
While the social element is a key part of our global meeting each year, the emphasis will continue to be on membership expansion, business development and innovation, and finding new ways to work together.
Our keynote speaker will be Joe McCool, principal of The McCool Group, a global advisory firm that helps companies select, engage and partner with retained executive search firms worldwide. He plans to speak about "Creating New Opportunities In Global Executive Search." His remarks – and the interactive panel and other discussions to follow – will help us gain fresh perspective about what corporate clients value most about executive search, how the internal talent acquisition function is evolving, and how to be prepared for whatever the global economy brings.
It is sure to be a great meeting and I look forward to seeing our InterSearch partners in Berlin!
